1964 Comet Caliente Convertible trim repair and paint & quarter glass reassembly

This episode includes details of getting various trim and parts ready for re-assembly. 
Trim needs to repaired, painted, polished and parts need to be sorted, figured out and installed, 
with final adjustments to come later.


Above - Current state has the seats and carpet (loosely) installed,
tank was rust-prepped and painted and taillights installed.



Below - Rear panel trim is in decent shape - couple dings and some faded trim paint

1956 International Harvester 4x4 S120 is Painted!

After 2 years of on and off work, 100's of hours of metal work, filler, sanding, primer and more sanding, the International is painted! Take a look through the various stages of final sanding, sealer, base coat and clear....

 This color can look blue or green or anything in between, depending on your eyes, the screen and the available light!


With the clear it looks shiny and wet!


"Before shot" -  grey sealer. Seals all fillers and any primers, hides transitions, gives a solid under color:


Yesterday, we sprayed the 'inners', including the textured box liner:



Which all had to be "reverse-masked" to spray the final top coat....
